This section outlines the procedure for replacing the CPU Board, located in the TPS Chassis. Start by removing the old CPU Board. The steps are outlined below.
CPU Board Replacement Procedure (Signa LX)
Remove front cover from system cabinet and turn off the Main circuit breaker, CB1. Loosen the two front panel screws. Remove the CPU Assembly from the ISE/TPS Chassis
See the tables below for jumper, switch, and LED information.
Install CPU Board into ISE/TPS Chassis and tighten the two front panel screws. Then, turn on the main circuit breaker, CB1. Install systems cabinet front cover.
Finally, perform TPS reset if software is running. Power the system back on, if system has been shut down.
